Platform support¶
Student Planner is the same app everywhere — the web app, and the installable desktop and Android apps all read and write the same data. Almost everything works identically on every platform; the few exceptions are below. Looking for the minimum OS version for your device instead? See System requirements.

Notification differences, in short: Android gets real push, same as the web app — reminders reach you even when the app is closed. Desktop can't wake itself up in the background the way a phone or browser can, so a reminder only fires while the desktop app happens to be open.
Schedule¶
Recurring classes, laid out for you. Set a class once and it repeats all semester — day and week views, alternating-week (Week A/B) classes, and one-click XLSX/CSV timetable import.
Quiz & Tests¶
Every test, tracked to a score. Link study topics to every test, track scores, and let status update itself as you go — includes Final Exams with seat numbers.
Homework & Tasks¶
Progress bars, not checkboxes. Drag to 100% and it's done — no separate toggle to remember to tick. Supports a during-class or custom due time.
Study Topics¶
Focus sessions that know your day. Pomodoro sessions that mix tests, tasks, and topics — and pause themselves automatically when a class starts.
Pomodoro Focus Sessions¶
A timer that follows you. Runs as a live notification on Android and a home screen/desktop widget everywhere, so you can see your progress without reopening the app.
Subjects & Academics¶
GPA, calculated for you. GPA and CGPA calculated automatically from every grade you enter, semester by semester, across programmes and years.
Notifications¶
A nudge before it's too late. A push notification before class starts, and one the morning something's due — even offline. Available on the web app, and natively on Android and desktop.
Dashboard¶
Your day at a glance — today's classes, semester GPA, a study streak, upcoming deadlines, and a focus-time breakdown by subject, right when you open the app.
Calendar¶
A month view combining your classes, deadlines, holidays, and events in one place, with the current teaching week highlighted.
Settings¶
Class/exam duration defaults, exam session presets, notification timing, theme, Google Calendar sync, home screen/desktop widgets, and your account & data — export, import, or delete everything, any time.
