Offline use and sync

Stutastic Planner saves planner changes to a local database on your device first. You can use the planner while offline.

Guest mode

Guest planner records stay on the device and do not sync. Export a backup regularly if you need a second copy or plan to move to another device. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app can remove the local copy.

Using an account

When you are signed in and online, your planner records sync to your account. Changes made offline remain on the device and sync when the connection returns. Sign in to the same account on another device to access its synced records there.

Internet connection

Offline use does not require a connection for local planner actions. Sign-in, account creation, cross-device sync, and Google Calendar connection do require internet access.

App and browser storage

The native app keeps its local database in app storage. The web app uses browser storage. If you clear browser or app data, or uninstall the app, unsynced guest data may be lost. Use Export and Import to create a backup.

Installing the web app

You can use the web app in a browser or install it from the browser's install option when available. This is optional; iPhone and iPad also have a native app. Web reminders are not available, so use the native app if you want scheduled reminders from Stutastic Planner.
