Export and Import

Open Settings → Your data to export a backup or restore one.

Export everything

Choose Export everything to save a dated JSON backup containing the planner records for the current session. This works offline and in guest mode. Account credentials and passwords are not part of the backup. Keep the file somewhere safe: it contains your personal study information.

Export a backup before clearing app or browser data, changing devices, or using Replace during a restore. Guest data has no cloud copy until you create an account.

Restore from a backup

Choose Restore from a backup, select a backup file from Stutastic Planner or the earlier web app, then choose how to apply it:

• Merge keeps existing records and adds or updates records from the backup.
• Replace deletes the current planner data first, then restores the file. The app asks you to confirm because this cannot be undone.

Restoring a backup does not restore account credentials. Sign in separately if you want to sync.

Move guest data to another device

Export a backup on the original device, move the file securely, then restore it on the new device. Alternatively, create an account from Settings → Account to sync your existing planner data.

Import a timetable

To import class rows from a CSV timetable, open Planner and choose Import timetable from its menu. This is separate from restoring a full planner backup.
